About Guiding the Gifted

My Objective

At Guiding the Gifted, my mission is to empower professionals to effectively engage with exceptionally gifted individuals learn to support and nurture the potential of their profoundly gifted clients, and recognize and work with the struggles those clients encounter.

about shulamit

Helping the Helpers

After nearly four decades of working with exceptionally gifted clients from age 6 to 84, now that I, myself, am aging, it is time for me to focus on helping other professionals learn how to work with gifted folks, especially the profoundly gifted. Giftedness is not just about high intelligence or potential. Rather, it is about sensitivities, depth, and breadth, that result in not just feeling "different," but actually being different. What works with the general public may not work with such clients.

Why Consult with Shulamit

Do you work with someone whose way of being in this life is so different from others you've worked with, you maybe feel a bit out of your depth? Could the problem be that they are unusually gifted? The population of profoundly gifted people is infinitesimal, making it unusual to work with even one, let alone to counsel, coach, or manage enough PG folks to become proficient in working with this population.

For both one-on-one and group consultation, you will be mental health professionals, personal coaches, executive coaches, business managers or owners, other health care professionals, and anyone else who needs to learn how to work with their profoundly gifted clients/employees/patients. I have worked with highly gifted clients for almost 4 decades. Now I am pivoting away from clients, to work with professionals who work with the exceptionally gifted.
